The most famous style of pizza in Chicago is deep-dish pizza. The pan in which it is baked gives the pizza its characteristically high edge which provides ample space for large amounts of cheese and a chunky tomato sauce, and lots of toppings. Add a top crust and it takes this pie to a whole other level. While we wait for the cheesy crusty goodness to cook (it takes a little longer then a regular ole flat pizza), we will start with a pizzeria salad and of course tastings of local frosty beverages. Pizzas will be made in groups - so grab some friends or come ready to make new ones! Beer (21+).
