Navigating the SBIR Grant Process
Have you ever been told by an investor that they don’t want to talk to you until you have FDA approval? Or are you are looking to raise exactly $256,580? Or maybe you heard about how well NIH funding turned out for Moderna and think it could work for you? If any of the above apply (or even if they don’t), a NIH SBIR grant might be the right next step. Join UVMTC on May 18th at 4pm to discuss the SBIR application process including registration steps, writing a research proposal, and crafting a commercialization plan. For those interested, peer groups can be formed to receive feedback on proposals.

We are pleased to have Dr. Alan Guttmacher, former Director of the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) at the National Institute of Health, participating in this roundtable. Dr. Guttmacher also served as acting director of the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI) and director of the Department of Pediatrics' Vermont Regional Genetics Center and Pregnancy Risk Information Service at the University of Vermont.
