The Upper Valley Racial Literacy Fellowship (UVRLF) is an innovative learning opportunity for community members of the greater Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont. This fall UVRLF will be launching a community workshop titled “20/20 Vision: Seeing Systemic Racism in America.” While the history of racism in the deep south is perhaps more visible, or documented and commonly understood than the north's history of racial oppression, it would be a mistake to think racism is either a uniquely southern issue, or exclusively an issue of the past. Join a 4 week community workshop, titled 20/20 Vision: Seeing Systemic Racism in America, and learn about identity, social power, privilege, marginalization and dimensions of oppression. Participants will be able to choose from 4 workshop meeting times. There is no cost to participate. If you are interested please visit our website. The application deadline is September 21st and applicants will be notified of their acceptance by September 28th. All participants under the age of 18 will need to submit documentation of parental approval if selected.
