Job Summary The Wealth Advisor will provide advisory services and support to a select group of clients by reviewing client’s needs, goals, and objectives and formulating recommendations. With financial planning responsibility for the firm’s clients, the Wealth Advisor will also collaborate with the firm’s founder on the largest and most complex cases when needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Consult with current and prospective clients regarding financial planning and other financial services offered by the company
Analyze client portfolios and budgets to discuss recommendations with clients and make updates as appropriate as well as prepare cash flow analysis
Manage the preparation of client financial plans and suitability reports
Schedule, organize, and confirm appointments, meetings, and phone calls with current and prospective clients
Establish internal relationships to help maintain business flow and meet agreed targets
Research suggested solutions to support recommendations
Promote the organization by developing relationships within the industry and community
Ensure all business conducted complies with the laws and regulations set forth as well as ensure policies/procedures are followed in a responsible manner
Participate in on-going professional development to meet personal development needs
Periodic Duties and Responsibilities
Be available for other projects as needed
Cross-train with other coworkers in order to backup responsibilities as needed
Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory duties at this time.
Skills Required Understanding the financial planning process and working within defined business processes to achieve agreed outcomes independently is required. Other proficient skills required include being detail oriented, accurate and effectively articulating ideas both orally and in writing.

Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, instructions and manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Education/Experience Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university preferred Customer Service experience required
Certificates and Licenses Life and Health, SIE, Series 7 and Series 65/66 licenses required
