    • GEOKON is a manufacturer of sensors and instrumentation used in civil, mining and structural engineering projects throughout the world.

      We are currently seeking a Recruiter, who at the direction of the Human Resource Manager, will contribute to the success of GEOKON by collaborating with department managers/supervisors on a regular basis to proactively identify current and future hiring needs. Attract candidates using various sources, including social media networks, job boards and employee referrals. The Recruiter will ensure all job descriptions and job postings are up-to-date and correct. Overall responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure GEOKON attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline. This is a full- time position with flexible hours Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

      Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

      • Design and implement overall recruitment strategy
      • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
      • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
      • Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job boards/social media outlets
      • Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, etc.
      • Screen candidate resumes and job applications
      • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods, filter candidates within schedule
      • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, education, and aptitudes
      • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
      • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
      • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
      • Act a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
      • Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
      • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

      Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent Required/Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
      • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience required

      Other Requirements / Required Experience:

      • Proven work experience as a Recruiter
      • Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, etc.)
      • Hands on experience with various selection processes (interviewing, assessments, feedback, reference checking)
      • Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
      • Excellent computer proficiency (Microsoft® Word™Excel® and Outlook® software)
      • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
      • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. Ability to take initiative
      • Comfortable working in a highly visible role
      • Highly organized and efficient worker; skilled at multi-tasking
      • Good time management skills
